Mythology has long been an integral part of storytelling, weaving a complex tapestry of characters, themes, and narratives that have captivated audiences across generations. From ancient Greek and Roman traditions to Egyptian and Norse mythic systems, mythology continues to influence contemporary literature. This paper examines the evolution of mythological perspectives in Rick Riordan's selected works, with particular focus on the treatment of Greek, Egyptian, and Norse mythologies in Percy Jackson & the Olympians, The Kane Chronicles, and Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard. Through close textual analysis informed by relevant theoretical perspectives, the study demonstrates how Riordan reproduces and reinterprets ancient mythological themes in modern settings while preserving their philosophical depth. By reimagining heroism, disability, cultural inheritance, and fate, he transforms mythology into a dynamic cultural framework for empowerment, ethical reflection, and identity formation in contemporary young adult literature.
